iCIMS: Partner Strategy and Programs Assessment and Recommendations

Darren from AlignedPartner assessed both the iCIMS partner strategy and programs by speaking to both employees and partners, as well as reviewing internal and external materials. A comprehensive set of recommendations were presented, many of which were acted upon not long afterwards.

Boomi: Partner Program Assessment and Recommendations

Darren from AlignedPartner was brought in to do a deep dive into the partner program and make recommendations. Darren spent several weeks reviewing materials, sites, operations, policies, as well as speaking with dozens of employees and partners. A comprehensive analysis was presented along with a number of actionable recommendations, which the company has embraced and is working on, along with Darren’s help.

DocuSign: Advisory Consulting and Special Project

DocuSign is near and dear to Darren’s heart after spending 5+ years building the partner program. After his DocuCareer, Darren spent many months on part-time advisory consulting, plus delivered an in-depth project on a specific partner program direction that the company wanted to pursue.

The project consisted of 20 interviews with DocuSign people in programs, legal, partner account management, sales, marketing, and several partner employees, plus prospective partners. Recommendations were provided in a comprehensive report.

In Darren’s previous life, he ran a Global Channels and Alliances Research and Consulting team.

Darren led or supervised over 50 partner strategy and program projects for high-tech companies, including partner program assessment projects, research projects, and thought leadership reports (eg. encouraging solution providers to move to the cloud).
